Visual Design Intensive

Program includes four modules that will teach core design principles through hands on projects. Students will learn how to make impact with design. They will be introduced to design principles, current trends and best user practices.

 

Each module will follow similar structure: interactive discussion of the topic with some sketching, or brainstorming to motivate creative thinking; individual work with guidance from the instructor; sharing your work with group and stimulating constructive feedback. At the end of the program students will have 6 printed postcards, app prototype, illustration, and mood board for a brand.

 

• module one: post card design (color, composition and message)

• module two: app design (user interface, prototyping with paper, material design)

• module three: illustration (storytelling and illustration techniques)

• module four: logo design / mood board (branding)
